Description

The COS Pivot searchable database is used by researchers to broaden their funding portfolio and increase their interdisciplinary opportunities.

Bring your laptop for this hands-on training where you will learn how to identify and connect with funding opportunities and with other researchers, on and off campus, using the extensive Pivot database.

Using your own Pivot account, you will learn how to develop search parameters relevant to your interests. Then using those parameters, learn how to set up your Pivot account to send email alerts for selected and new funding opportunities.

This is ideal training for any faculty or staff looking to broaden their funding portfolio and increase their interdisciplinary opportunities.

No prior knowledge of Pivot is required to take this training, however it is necessary that you have a Pivot account.

Please follow the directions in the Confirmation email about securing your Pivot account prior to the training session.
